Automotive Tire Technician

As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all performed work is completed at a consistently high standard to provide outstanding experiences for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for a variety of vehicles


• Ensure all tire installations meet safety and quality standards


• Perform tire pressure checks


• Maintain shop equipment and a clean, organized work environment


• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding tire issues and solutions

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tire Technician in an automotive shop, dealership, or tire service center


• Strong technical knowledge of tire equipment, tools, and safety procedures


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment


• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented


• Related experience and/or training a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.


• Knowledge of basic math skills.


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.


• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle, a plus


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

COMPENSATION:

The Tire Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $28.00
