Homer Skelton Ford is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our team! We are seeking a dependable professional with automotive dealership title experience who understands the importance of accurate paperwork, timely processing, and compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Process vehicle titles, registrations, and tag work accurately and in a timely manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare, review, and maintain title documentation for new and pre-owned vehicle sales.

  
  


• 
  

  Process out-of-state title transfers and applicable state paperwork.

  
  


• 
  

  Verify deal jackets and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.

  
  


• 
  

  Track outstanding titles, lien releases, and other pending documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate with customers, lenders, state agencies, and dealership personnel to resolve title issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain organized title files and follow up on missing or incomplete paperwork.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with additional administrative duties as needed.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous automotive dealership title clerk experience is required.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of vehicle title and registration procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Mississippi title and tag requirements is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  Proficiency with computers and dealership management systems.
