Automotive Transmission Specialist

Magic City Ford Lincoln, Roanoke, VA is looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Transmission Technician to join our growing service department. The Automotive Transmission Technician will be responsible for transmission diagnosis and repairs, utilizing diagnostic tools, complete transmission overhauls. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions on all makes and models
  


• The Automotive Transmission Technician will perform complete transmission overhauls, clutch replacements, and drive-line repairs


• Use advanced diagnostic tools and factory software to troubleshoot issues


• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately


• Maintain a clean and organized work area


• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers

Qualification:

• Experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician (Ford or other OEM experience preferred but not required)


• ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred


• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills


• Ability to rebuild transmissions and perform complex repairs


• Valid driver’s license with a clean record


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
