Job Description - Automotive / Truck Parts Person

Job description



This well-established auto and truck repair facility prides itself on providing excellent customer service and having good community relations by engaging in ethical business practices. As a member of our team, your roll will be to:



  • Source needed parts 

  • maintain a neat, clean, orderly and safe parts department with inventory levels that maximize sales.

  • determine equipment and supplies needed, maintaining records of all transactions.

  • maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • stay current on industry trends in order to recommend new sales, marketing and promotional ideas to management.

  • process warranty claims and follow-up until complete.

  • assist Service Technicians with resolving problem areas related to parts.

  • assist and fill in for Service Advisors as needed.

Qualifications:



  • good computer, writing, and communication skills

  • valid driver's license

  • strong organizational skills

  • previous experience in computerized parts look up (preferred)

Other:



  • five day work week (no weekends)

  • medical and dental benefits available

  • vacation days

  • ongoing training

Job Type: Full-time



Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
