Sheehy Ford Ashland is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to fill the position of Used Car Assistant/Lot Porter. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. This opportunity is a great "foot in the door" for anyone curious about the car business. • Compensation: $15.00/HR to $20.00/HR - Based on Experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the used car manager with inventory management, pricing, and sales strategy


• Maintain the dealership's lot by keeping it clean, organized, and presentable for customers


• Move vehicles around the lot as needed


• Arrange displays and signage to showcase vehicles effectively


• Take quality photos of vehicles for online listings


• Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed


• Use windows-based systems to manage inventory and sales


• Familiarity with vAuto and Eleads CRM is a plus


• Consistently remains engaged with management, team leads, fellow team members, and processes to foster successful working relationships with all internal and external customers; consistently maintains follow-up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to customer satisfaction


• Immediately communicates with management whenever a concern or situation arises


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve


• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service


• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day


• Proficiency with windows-based systems


• Familiarity with vAuto and Eleads CRM is a plus


• Prior experience in a similar role preferred, but not required


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Records check, and drug test.


• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record


• Authorized to work in the USA
