Compensation

  Pay Range: $31,200 – $70,000 annually
  (Base salary + performance-based bonuses)

  
  

Role Summary

We are seeking a Automotive Vehicle Acquisition Advisor to work directly with customers in the service department. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to purchase or trade in customer vehicles while they visit for service. You’ll help customers understand their vehicle’s current market value, discuss upgrade options, and introduce them to new or pre-owned inventory that fits their needs.

This position serves as a key link between the Service Drive and the Sales Department, allowing you to turn everyday service appointments into meaningful customer conversations and potential sales.

Responsibilities

  Engage customers in the service lane to discuss the value of their current vehicle

  Review vehicle condition, mileage, market trends, and history to support trade-in conversations

  
  


• 
  

  Present customers with upgrade or trade-in opportunities that suit their lifestyle and budget

  Explain concepts such as vehicle equity, depreciation, and available financing paths in simple terms

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with sales managers to confirm trade appraisals and pricing

  
  


• 
  

  Track customer interactions and follow-up activity within the dealership CRM

  
  


• 
  

  Achieve performance targets tied to trade acquisitions and appointments set

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all paperwork and processes are completed accurately and in compliance with regulations

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with both service and sales departments to ensure a seamless customer experience

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous experience in automotive sales, service advising, customer service, or a related customer-facing role

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with vehicle valuation tools such as VAuto, AccuTrade, Kelley Blue Book, etc. (preferred)

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  
  


• 
  

  Able to manage multiple interactions and stay organized in a busy environment

  Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and confident when speaking with customers

  Team player with a professional and positive approach

  Valid driver’s license and ability to operate various makes and models
