Automotive Warranty Clerk

Landmark Chrysler-Jeep-Fiat, Inc. is a customer-focused automotive dealership dedicated to providing exceptional sales and service experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Warranty Clerk to join our service department team.

Position Summary:
The Warranty Clerk is responsible for preparing, submitting, and tracking warranty claims to ensure timely payment and compliance with manufacturer requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work closely with the service team, technicians, and manufacturer representatives.  This role provides phone support for our team of Service Writers and the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on warranty claims to manufacturers and vendors.


• Review repair orders for proper documentation and accuracy.


• Maintain knowledge of manufacturers and extended warranty policies and procedures.


• Track claim status, resolve rejected claims and reconcile outstanding warranty receivables.


• Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and management to ensure compliance.


• Maintain warranty files, records, and reports for auditing purposes.


• Assist with other administrative tasks in the service department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive dealership or warranty experience preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.


• Proficiency with dealership management systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc.) is a plus.


• Excellent computer, communication and teamwork skills.
