Job Overview Autonomous Vehicle Technicians. In this role, you’ll help keep self-driving vehicles running safely and efficiently by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing them.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine checks, maintenance, and repairs on autonomous vehicles (AVs)

• Diagnose issues with vehicle systems including sensors, electrical components, and computers

• Respond quickly to vehicle issues using Slack and other tools

• Install hardware/software updates and work with engineering teams

• Log all repairs, parts used, and time taken

• Make sure vehicles are ready for demos and testing

• Follow safety guidelines and assess risks

• Support vehicles on-site and remotely when needed

What We’re Looking For

✅ 3–5+ years of experience as an automotive technician, or similar training
✅ Hands-on experience with diagnosing and fixing electrical, mechanical, and computer systems
✅ Comfortable working with electric and hybrid vehicles
✅ Familiar with sensors like LiDAR, radar, and cameras
✅ Knowledge of embedded systems and vehicle communication (CAN, etc.)
✅ Basic Linux skills and experience using diagnostic software
✅ Good communication skills – work well with engineers and operations teams
✅ Strong safety mindset and familiar with OSHA or similar procedures
✅ Bonus: ASE or OEM certifications
