The Field Commissioning Engineer is the single point of responsibility for the quality control and commissioning process of assigned integration projects. They are charged with the responsibility of working with assigned project managers, design engineers, contract installers, and control system programmers in providing complete, fully functional integrated audio-visual systems that meets all the functional criteria and specifications as documented in the project scope. The Field Engineer position has three main focal points: (a) commissioning racks in the shop, (b) writing and debugging control system programs that allow system operation to meet the client scope of work, and (c) commissioning systems and performing client training.

The person in this position is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers, reach and push with hands and arms. Frequent sitting, climbing, and balancing is also required. Work requires the ability to perform job duties on scaffolding, ladders, and at various heights as well as extensive overhead motion required to install equipment. Work requires the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and the ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
