Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the installation of commercial AV systems including displays, projectors, video walls, speakers, microphones, control systems, and related infrastructure.
- Interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and technical documents to execute project plans.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Crestron, Extron, and/or AMX control systems.
- Supervise and coordinate field technicians and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
- Perform cable pulls, terminations, equipment mounting, rack building, and system testing.
- Maintain communication with the Project Manager regarding project progress, resource needs, and any onsite issues or delays.
- Conduct quality checks and functional testing to verify proper system performance before project turnover.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and job site protocols.
- Provide on-site training or system walkthroughs to clients or end users as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation including change orders, punch lists, and daily reports.
