* This is a role that requires travel at times throughout NYC, LI, NJ, and CT. 

The LDI ProAV Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the project scope presented to the customer has been designed properly and accurately.  This will ensure proper fit and feasibility with the customer needs and environment as well as protecting LDI from any technical oversight resulting in lost revenue and profit or reputational damage.

As a ProAV Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and potential customers. Your role involves understanding the technical aspects of our products/services, addressing customer inquiries, and collaborating with both internal teams and clients to ensure successful sales outcomes. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Technical Expertise:
    • Develop a deep understanding of the company's ProAV products including their features, functionalities, and technical specifications.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  2. Sales Support-Solution Design:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support, including system design and hardware requirements.
    • Assist in the development of executable statement of work to be shared with Project Manager
  3. Product Knowledge Transfer:
    • Train sales team members on technical aspects of products and services to equip LDI resources to broker all needed support calls as well as potential implementations
    • Create and update technical documentation to continue to support internal teams product knowledge
  4. Internal Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners through ongoing communication and support.
    • Act as a liaison between manufacturers and internal teams, addressing technical concerns and facilitating effective problem resolution.
  5. Post-Sales Support:
    • Assist in the implementation phase by working closely with the project manager on ProAV setup and configuration.
    • Provide post-sales technical support on an as needed basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with ProAV technology
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the ProAV and general sales team to support driving revenue
