Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Support Specialist to join our client’s team in Washington, D.C. This role is critical for ensuring seamless operation of audio-visual and conference room systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AV technologies, troubleshooting, collaboration platforms, and vendor management, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide technical expertise for the implementation, maintenance, and support of audio-visual and conference room technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft Surface HUB, Polycom, and other AV systems.
  • Support and manage collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • Manage AV-related projects from conception through execution and post-implementation support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor management, coordinating smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain clear documentation and follow ITIL principles for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and vendors, providing concise updates on projects and support matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated technical experience in audio-visual support and systems management.
  • Relevant engineering certifications in AV and conference room technologies (e.g., Microsoft Surface HUB, Polycom).
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) Certification – required.
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting AV solutions in corporate conference rooms and situation rooms.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Teams and Zoom platforms.
  • Strong project management and vendor management experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and hands-on experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details clearly.
