Aviation Maintenance Assistant

North Point Aviation is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Assistant at our maintenance facility in Brainerd, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career with a great company. Willing to train personnel to perform the functions listed below.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance and avionics departments with repair, modifications, and upkeep of aircraft. No experience required. Will train personnel on job duties and responsibilities.


• Must be able to perform all functions unsupervised, at any time after training completed and signed off to perform functions. Maintain a clean and neat work area. Help with other housekeeping duties as assigned.


• Must be familiar with and have at minimum, basic knowledge and experience with general computer applications. (i.e., Microsoft, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)


• Able to maintain repair station records and documents as required.


• Assist co-workers and those in other departments to successfully perform job tasks and functions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent


• Ability to read, follow instructions, procedures, and coordinate work with that of technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel.


• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling, and stocking shelves with inventory.


• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record


• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment drug screening, Driver's license background, & criminal background check.
