Job Title: Part 91/135 Aviation Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida (KFXE Based)

Surjet Charter is a leading Part 135 operator specializing in the management and operation of large-cabin aircraft. We provide world-class service to aircraft owners and VIP clients, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional customer service, and meticulous attention to detail.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an entry level Aviation Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and alterations of aircraft as needed.

Requirements:

1-3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.

Experience on GV / G550, CL300, Lear 45, and / or G280 aircraft preferred.

FAR knowledgeable part 91/135 preferred.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Effective communication skills with problem-solving attitude.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Able to multitask, direct and work under pressure.

Must be available to work on weekends when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft.

Able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and/or electronic discrepancies

Ensure strict adherence to the aircraft inspection program, repair requirements and GMM

Comply with manufacturer's technical data, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and applicable safety rules.

Comply with safety work practices, environmental compliance, and proper housekeeping.

Provide effective and clear communication up the chain of command.
