The Manager, Operational Performance is responsible for labor forecasting, staffing efficiency, and workforce cost control. This role translates demand and volume into optimized staffing plans while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and reduce overtime. Drives data-driven decision making by delivering actionable insights, dashboards, and contract health assessments. This role ensures visibility into performance trends and early identification of operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain labor forecasts and staffing models
Analyze actual vs budgeted labor hours and cost variances
Optimize full-time vs part-time staffing mix
Identify overtime drivers and recommend corrective actions
Partner with field leaders on scheduling and staffing adjustments
Support cross-training and skill optimization initiatives
Provide labor insights for monthly and quarterly reviews
Design and maintain KPI, SLA, and productivity dashboards
Lead contract health scoring and performance reporting
Identify trends, risks, and early-warning indicators
Prepare monthly operational and executive performance reviews
Support root-cause analysis for underperforming locations
Standardize metrics, definitions, and reporting processes
Partner with operations leaders to translate data into action

Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in operational performance, workforce analytics, labor planning, or operations management, preferably in aviation, ground handling, transportation, or large-scale facility services.
Strong analytical skills with experience in labor modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
Experience working cross-functionally with field operations and senior leadership.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear operational guidance.
Work Environment
This role requires frequent travel, including extended periods on-site at operational locations, to support performance assessments and field partnership initiatives.
Must be comfortable working in fast-paced, operationally critical aviation environments.
