Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the revamp of on-level and price monitoring capabilities, building and maintaining a facility that provides regular, timely, and accurate on-level and exposure-trended premium across various risk cohorts.

• Enhance price monitoring frameworks by integrating granular rate adequacy concepts into existing workflows, enabling more sophisticated analysis of pricing adequacy at detailed risk segment levels.

• Develop and maintain robust, well-documented tools, reports, and dashboards to support portfolio management activities across Commercial Insurance, enabling key stakeholders to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.

• Mature the portfolio management support function by creating detailed scenario testing capabilities and analytical tools that enable portfolio managers to evaluate strategic decisions and optimize portfolio performance.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements by streamlining data collection, analysis, and presentation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Collaborate closely with line actuarial leaders, portfolio managers, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and deliver timely, actionable insights that support strategic initiatives.

• Partner with Technology, Underwriting, and Data Analytics teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness of recurring and ad-hoc analyses.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying pain points in existing processes, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices from digital transformation efforts.

• Proactively engage with portfolio managers across multiple lines of business to understand their analytical needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and communicate findings through clear, concise presentations.

• Act as a subject matter expert in process modernization, sharing knowledge and best practices across the actuarial team and promoting a culture of innovation.

• Support ad-hoc actuarial initiatives and special projects as needed, bringing a process-oriented mindset to ensure efficient execution and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of actuarial or analytical experience in insurance, with a focus on process improvement, automation, or analytics. Experience across multiple lines of business is beneficial but not required.
• ACAS or FCAS certification preferred, or equivalent industry qualifications. Alternative relevant credentials will be considered.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, R, Python, and SQL is required. Demonstrated experience building analytical tools, automating workflows, and working with large datasets.
• Prior experience with price monitoring, profitability analysis, and planning processes is a plus.
• Experience with transformation initiatives, process improvement methodologies, and leveraging AI/machine learning solutions is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and commitment to building maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliverables effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated individual contributor with strong initiative and ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team objectives.
• Growth mindset with enthusiasm for learning new technologies, embracing change, and driving innovation.
