AWS Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated technologists who combine technical depth with strong interpersonal abilities. In this pivotal AWS Solution Architect role, you will be at the forefront of technical workshops, providing expert guidance to customers on critical architectural and strategic IT decisions. You will be responsible for designing highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that directly address customer business challenges.

As a trusted advocate, you will guide organizations in adopting best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions. A key aspect of this role is connecting technology solutions with tangible business value. The ideal candidate possesses a strong passion for developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and a comprehensive understanding of how applications and services are built on the AWS platform.

You will represent us effectively within customer environments, leading discussions with senior personnel, and possess the technical acumen to easily interact with and mentor software developers and architects. We are looking for someone skilled in architecting robust, secure, and compliant cloud solutions.

Summary Responsibilities

• Lead engaging technical workshops and provide strategic IT and architectural guidance to customers.
• Ensure successful construction and migration of applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Educate customers on best practices to guarantee their cloud solutions are designed for successful deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Capture and disseminate knowledge to our broader technical expert community.
• Serve as a crucial technical liaison between customers, our DevOps, FinOps, and account management teams.
• Develop and present detailed solution documentation, such as HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, SOWs, and solution presentations, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 6+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a minimum of two years specifically focused on AWS.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex AWS solutions.
• Proven ability to lead or develop high-quality, enterprise-scale distributed applications utilizing modern software development practices and technologies (highly desired).
• Significant expertise across infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and security.
• Successful track record of technical consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
• Exceptional presentation skills, with comfort in addressing executives, IT Management, and developers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations.
• Experience within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science is highly desired.
• AWS Certification - an advantage
• Fluency in both Hebrew and English is a must.
