The School of Engineering is seeking candidates for the Digital Content Producer role to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design, video production, and basic WordPress updates. This role requires a creative individual who can develop engaging multimedia content to enhance our brand presence and effectively communicate our message across various digital platforms.  The majority of work may be done remotely with in-person meetings twice a month.


Main Responsibilities:

 

• Graphic Design\: Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print media, including social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, and marketing materials.
   
• Video Production\: Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos for social media, website content, and promotional materials. This includes creating storyboards, selecting locations, and managing post-production processes.
   
• WordPress Updates\: Maintain and update the company’s WordPress website, including uploading new content, making design adjustments, and ensuring the site remains user-friendly and visually appealing.
   
• Content Strategy\: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with the School’s goals and target audience preferences.
   
• Project Management\: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards.
   
• Brand Consistency\: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
   
• Analytics and Reporting\: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital content, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  
   

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in graphic design, video production, and WordPress management.
   
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
   
• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including shooting, lighting, sound, and editing.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with WordPress CMS.
   
• Excellent creative, organizational, and communication skills.
   
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
   
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in graphic design and video production.
