The Rev IT Service Operations Division has a need for an Azure Cost Management & IT Budget Analyst.

The Rev IT Serv Ops is responsible for multiple stages of the ITIL lifecycle to ensure projects and changes are successfully delivered. The DOR software teams develop applications based on requirements from the business and IT. The Server Support team builds the infrastructure resources required to install and run the applications.

This position will manage the billing of cloud providers (Microsoft Azure). This role will also help develop cost modeling strategies to align with business needs. The position also works closely with the cloud operations team and business relationship management team to provide guidance for the business on how to manage cloud costs. The position will manage the procurement process and track all costs for all IT systems and services as required. The position will also serve as the single point of contact for all procurement and billing processes in IT.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

  • Knowledge of finance principles and basic understanding of the accounting process (rate setting, forecasting, invoicing, showback, etc...)

  • Knowledge of cloud and on-premises technologies at a high-level, such as networking, firewalls, other security components, server, storage, and cloud architecture.

  • Familiarity with Azure Cost Management tools

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure and cloud cost management.

Recruitment Range: $78,467.00 - $117,701.00

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in business consultation or business relationship development in an information technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
