Ace Ford is seeking a reliable and skilled B-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department. This role is perfect for a technician who has a solid foundation in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance and is ready to take on more complex responsibilities while continuing to grow their career.
Perform thorough diagnostics and accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues
Carry out scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, HVAC, and other major vehicle systems
Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and document findings in repair orders
Recommend additional maintenance or repairs in a professional, customer-focused manner
Ensure all work follows manufacturer specifications, dealership standards, and safety protocols
Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to confirm proper function and safety
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
Stay current on Ford training programs and technical bulletins to enhance repair skills
Assist and mentor junior technicians when needed, providing guidance on best practices
Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
2–5 years of professional automotive repair experience (Ford or dealership experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical
Familiarity with diagnostic tools, scanners, and repair software
Ability to follow complex repair procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple jobs effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a customer-first mindset
ASE certifications or Ford training certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
