Miss Lucille's Café, a favorite local eatery in Clarksville, TN, is renowned for its southern-inspired cuisine and fresh, inviting atmosphere. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Back of House Cook to join our growing kitchen team. No experience? No problem! We are committed to training the right candidate. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within our culinary team. Expectations:

• Prep batch recipes for food service.


• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.


• Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces).


• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.


• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.


• Stock inventory appropriately.


• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.


• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.


• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum age 18 years or older


• A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.


• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and measurements is a plus.


• Self-starter who can work independently but also take direction from supervisors.


• Previous cooking experience is preferred but not required.

• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


• A positive attitude and teamwork mentality.


• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Job Type:

• Part-time, 20 to 32 hours a week


• Pay Rate: $12 to $15 an hour (based on experience)

Physical Setting:

• Fast casual restaurant

Shift:

• Day Shifts, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. availability, minimum 3 days a week
  


• Weekend and Holiday availability required, Open availability preferred


• Flexibility required

Work Location:

• In-person
