We are looking for someone who can lead in the restaurant today while building the systems and leaders we will need tomorrow.
You will be challenged, coached, and invested in, and you will be expected to do the same for the people you lead.
What You’ll Own

You will be responsible for building a strong, accountable, and healthy Back of House team.
This includes:

- Building a culture where people feel seen, known, heard, and valued.
- Addressing performance concerns and conflict quickly, respectfully, and consistently.
- Helping create an environment where people enjoy working while maintaining high standards.
Your success will not only be measured by what you accomplish personally, but also by the leaders you develop.
Operational Excellence

Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily Back of House operations.
- Establishing and maintaining strong kitchen systems and routines.
- Ensuring proper positioning and deployment based on sales volume.
- Preparing the kitchen for projected sales, catering orders, promotions, and other business demands.
- Identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
- Improving kitchen capacity, productivity, speed, quality, and consistency.
- Ensuring proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
- Partnering with Front of House leadership to create a seamless restaurant operation.
- Leading during high-volume periods and stepping into operational positions when necessary.
Food Quality & Food Safety
Protecting our guests and the Chick-fil-A brand is one of your most important responsibilities.
You will:
- Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A food safety and quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with Virginia Department of Health requirements.
- Lead food safety systems, inspections, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure proper chicken handling, preparation, cooking, holding, and rotation procedures.

- Coach Team Members and leaders on food safety expectations.
- Maintain a culture where food safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- Identify risks before they become problems and take immediate corrective action when standards are missed.

You will help own:
- Food cost
- Inventory management
- Waste reduction
- Productivity
- Labor efficiency
- Ordering and product availability
- Vendor performance
- Equipment stewardship
- Operational profitability
You will use restaurant data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
