PM Part-Time Prep Team Member

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, dependable PM Prep Team Member to support our evening operations. This position is primarily responsible for preparing our cold-side products while maintaining organization, cleanliness, food safety, and readiness for the following business day.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can work efficiently, follow established procedures, maintain high quality standards, and take ownership of their work with limited supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

The immediate priority of this role is cold prep, including:

● Preparing salads and other cold-side menu items

● Preparing and portioning ingredients according to Chick-fil-A standards

● Maintaining appropriate product levels throughout the evening

● Monitoring freshness, quality, labeling, rotation, and proper storage

● Following all food safety and sanitation procedures

● Keeping the prep area clean, organized, and stocked

Once primary prep responsibilities are completed or caught up, this position will transition into rolling side work based on the needs of the restaurant. This may include:

● Restocking and organizing product

● Cleaning and sanitizing prep and kitchen areas

● Assisting with dishes and equipment

● Completing assigned cleaning or organizational projects

● Supporting BOH operations where needed

● Preparing the restaurant and prep areas for the following day

Qualifications

Previous restaurant, food preparation, kitchen, or comparable food-service experience is required.

The ideal candidate:

● Is dependable and consistently arrives on time

● Can work independently and stay productive without constant direction

● Works with urgency while maintaining accuracy and food quality

● Understands proper food handling, sanitation, and organization

● Can follow recipes, procedures, portioning standards, and prep lists

● Takes initiative and moves to the next priority when assigned work is complete

● Works well as part of a team and is willing to assist wherever needed

● Can maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift

Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time evening position averaging approximately 20–30 hours per week, with typical shifts from 4:00 PM–9:00 PM.

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

A successful PM Prep Team Member leaves the restaurant prepared, stocked, clean, and ready for success the following day. This person takes ownership of the prep area, consistently produces high-quality products, works with urgency, and looks for ways to support the team once their immediate responsibilities are complete.
