Back Office Generalist

We currently have a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a BACK-OFFICE GENERALIST to join our corporate office team in PELLA, IA! This position is a full-time hourly position with a comprehensive benefit package included!

As part of our back-office team, you will have the opportunity to support our back-office team with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Collaborate with our Insurance Team to ensure clients know their benefits.


• Working with the Insurance Team to manage insurance authorization process for physical therapy and occupational therapy.


• Support our Billing Team by performing a variety of billing tasks such as posting charges, posting payments, answering client billing questions.


• Providing coverage for our Billing Team and Insurance Team.


• Assisting and supporting administrative and clinical team members as needed.


• Aids in achieving organizational goals through support, project work, and team building.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills:

• 1-2 years experience in an office environment


• 1-2 year working with medical insurance, claims or prior authorizations


• Experience with EMR software, Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Office


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Attention to detail


• Ability to summarize large quantities of complex information and present it to clients and collaborating teams


• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service


• Ability to multitask and prioritize a fast-paced workflow and efficiently accomplish daily intake goals


• Adaptability with ever-changing insurance processes and efficiency improvements with software
