Job Description - Back Office Officer - Limassol, Cyprus

Emerald Zebra is seeking a detail-oriented Back-Office Officer on behalf of a regulated CFD and forex broker with an international presence and a growing office in Limassol. This is a great opportunity to join a global brand during an exciting growth phase and be part of its foundational Cyprus team. Working Hours:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotational shifts of 08:00 to 16:00 and 15:00 to 23:00.
  • Flexible to work on public holidays on rotation.
  • Location: Limassol, Cyprus - Fully onsite

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily monetary routines including processing clients deposits and withdrawal requests and regularly reconcile and update records accordingly.
  • Reviewing and verifying client financial details and transaction records to ensure compliance with AML requirements. Conduct risk assessment of client monetary transactions to identify potential fraud and other related issues and take necessary actions.
  • Assist in maintaining smooth global operations of the team and actively participate in cross department collaboration.
  • Liaise with external money processors and banks to handle transaction issues and disputes.
  • Effective implementation of Know your Client (KYC) procedure to all potential and existing Clients.
  • Work closely with compliance and internal audit departments, and prepare various regulatory reports related to back-office.
  • Preparation of daily reconciliation reports.

Your profile:

  • At least 1 year experience in financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and Word.
  • Experience in client onboarding and payment processing.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn about the financial markets, CFD industry, and trading platforms.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any additional language will be considered an advantage.
  • Degree or related qualification in Accounting/Finance will be considered an advantage
