Backhoe Machine Operator

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Backhoe Machine Operator to join our team in Aberdeen, MS. This full-time role involves using a backhoe to move gravel and other earth materials around the job site. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating a backhoe and be able to follow instructions closely while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a backhoe machine to transport and distribute gravel and other materials.
  




• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and site rules at all times.
  




• Take direction from site supervisors and work effectively within a team.
  




• Conduct basic pre-use inspections and report any mechanical issues.
  




• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience operating a backhoe.
  




• Strong ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  




• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
  




• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  




• No CDL required.
