The Machine Operator is responsible foroperating and maintaining brick manufacturing machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position involves monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety and quality standards to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate brick manufacturing machines according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Monitor machinery during operation to ensure consistent product quality and identify malfunctions or irregularities.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to machinery as needed.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
Keep production areas clean and organized to maintain a safe work environment.
Follow quality control standards to meet production specifications and minimize waste.
Record operational data, downtime, and maintenance activities as .
Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 5:30PM, depending on production needs.
Occasional overtime or weekend shifts may be to meet production demands.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass all required safety training and certifications.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Previous experience as a machine operator or a similar industrial role is preferred.
Ability to read and understand what goes into the machine & follow instructions.
Must be able to pass all required safety training and certifications.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in brick or construction materials manufacturing.
Work Environment:
This role operates in an industrial production environment, which may involve exposure to machinery noise, heat, and varying weather conditions. Proper safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
