Position Overview for Military Transitioning Service Members Only

As a Badging Specialist, you will ensure the secure and efficient processing of identification badges in compliance with federal regulations. Your work will directly support workforce security, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure only authorized personnel have access to secure facilities. You'll work within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and government representatives to maintain high security standards and impeccable customer service.  

This role provides hands-on experience in badging and credentialing, with a focus on compliance, attention to detail, and service excellence. Whether adapting to new badging technologies, managing growing credentialing demands, or supporting evolving regulations, your contributions will directly impact the integrity of government facilities and Protection Strategies’s reputation for security excellence.  

Key Responsibilities  

- Process identification badges for employees, contractors, and affiliates with precision and compliance with federal regulations.  

- Verify credentialing documents for accuracy to prevent unauthorized access and uphold facility security.  

- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and government representatives to streamline badging operations and ensure compliance.  

- Support the implementation of new badging technologies while maintaining accurate records and documentation.  

- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a seamless credentialing process.  

- Defer policy-related decisions or escalated security concerns to management to align with organizational priorities.

Minimum Qualifications 

- Education: High school diploma or GED required.  

- Experience:  

  - 1+ year of experience in data entry.  

  - 1+ year of experience in badging or access control.  

-Skills:  

  - Strong keyboarding and alpha-numeric data entry skills.  

  - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  

  - Excellent customer service and communication skills.  

  - Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.  

- Personality Traits: Motivated self-starter with attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
