We are currently seeking a permanent full time Bag to Bag Operator to join its vibrant team. The purpose of a Bag-to-Bag Operator involves the efficient and accurate transfer of bags in between railcars and containers.

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, with availability for additional hours if needed.

• Day shift operates from 5am until 3pm

Main Responsibilities:

• In a team of 3 guys, you will be responsible for pulling as many 100lbs grain bags from an incoming unit onto a strap conveyor.


• Verify the correct lots and quantities of bags are being placed into the container.


• Conduct a thorough sweep of the railcar.


• Assist in closing and securing the railcar to prepare it for transport.


• The main task is repetitive and extremely demanding from a physical standpoint. However, the job is easy to learn and most importantly, the compensation is great

Conditions:

• Salary is determined by piece rate, dependent on the number of bags completed.


• Working in a team of 3, the more bags completed, the higher the pay.


• Payment is hourly at a non-exempt classification, with overtime pay for hours exceeding 40 per week.


• If insufficient work is available, alternative tasks will be assigned at a standard rate of $22 per hour to ensure a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift and maneuver bags weighing up to 100lbs for extended periods of time.


• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.


• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to the terminal, as it is not accessible by public transportation.
