A renowned custom cake and dessert boutique, is seeking an experienced and passionate Scratch Baker to join our creative team. We specialize in handcrafted, high-end baked goods for weddings, special events, and celebrations, and we take pride in every detail from flavor to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of baked goods from scratch, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and specialty desserts
• Follow established recipes and maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with health and safety standards
• Support daily kitchen prep and production schedules
• Collaborate with cake decorators and team members to fulfill custom orders
• Assist with inventory and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a scratch baker (professional bakery or culinary background required)
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredient handling
• Ability to follow precise recipes and work efficiently under time constraints
• Must live within a 10/15 mile radius of West Berlin, NJ
• Availability to work 20/30 hours per week, with flexibility for early mornings or weekends as needed
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and quality
• A positive attitude and passion for the baking arts
