In this role, you'll support kitchen operations and provide friendly, efficient service to guests enjoying our farm's unique atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, plating, and serving of food items in accordance with orchard standards.
• Help Chef prepare meals, donuts, ice cream, and farm-favorite menu.
• Support kitchen cleanliness and organization by maintaining prep areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure food is stored and handled safely, following all health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests at service counters or during events.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
• Assist with setup, service, and cleanup for on-site private events or seasonal activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to meet service goals.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service, kitchen work, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask in a high-energy environment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.

• This position offers a starting wage range of $14.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, food safety knowledge, culinary skills, efficiency, and leadership ability.
• Team members may be eligible for pay increases as they refine technical skills, increase speed and accuracy, maintain high food quality standards, and demonstrate leadership within the kitchen team.
• Clear pathways exist for growth into leadership roles. Team members who work during our peak season (September 15 – October 31) may also be eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities.
