Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Band Saw Operator to join a Tulsa-based fabrication team. The Band Saw Operator will be responsible for safely operating band saw machinery to cut raw materials to precise specifications. This position requires strong measuring skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate band saws to cut raw materials such as steel and aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on saw equipment.
• Inspect finished cuts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Assist with material handling, shop organization, and grinding as needed.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear all required PPE.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and grinding machines.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Previous shop or fabrication experience preferred.
