The Bank Operations Specialist is responsible for processing multiple bank and client records and files in a timely manner. This position will research and respond to internal and external inquiries and provide accurate information.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
Review and Complete domestic and foreign wire transfer requests in accordance with policy and procedures, governing wire transfer operations.
Verify that all information on wire transfers being processed through the department is accurate.
Perform and/or document “callback” verifications when required on outgoing wires.
Perform other tasks involving wire tracking and review.
Utilize the Personal Identification Number (PIN) authority list according to wire transfer agreements.
Prepare all demand deposit and general ledger recons that are assigned on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and enter into Blackline.
Process and handle returned mail. Contact customer or necessary banker to resolve. Send customer correspondence and submit necessary maintenance requests.
Process ATM/Debit Card orders, workflows and requests. Perform audits of cardstock.
Prepare all lockbox contents to the specifications provided by the clients in accordance with their lockbox agreement. This will include preparing manual lockbox contents as well as assisting with the process of all automated lockbox contents.
Protect all documents after scanning, including their safe disposal if applicable, according to HIPAA regulations.
Complete paper and electronic verification requests. Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
Two years’ experience in banking operations.
Knowledge of balancing procedures.
Capability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
