Bank Operations Specialist I

American Bank of Commerce is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bank Operations Specialist I. As a Bank Operations Specialist I, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements. You will also be responsible for complying with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Setup, maintenance, and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements

- Comply with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations

- Wire transfer processing

- Dormant account reporting

- Interact with third party vendors involved in these processes

We are currently seeking qualified applicants to work as a Bank Operations Specialist I at our Wolfforth Texas Banking Center (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).

Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide customer research on escalated issues.
2. Provide research information for other departments of the Bank on escalated issues.
3. Recognize cross sell opportunities and offer ABC Products and Services to our customers.
4. Confer with customers by telephone or other channel in order to provide information about their accounts, the Bank's products and services, or to obtain details of complaints on escalated issues.
5. Setup, maintenance and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay and E-Statements.
6. Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
7. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
8. Prepare change of address records.
9. Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
10. Operate computers programmed with specialized software to record, store, and analyze information.
11. Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones and handling routine correspondence.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by management / supervisor.
13. Comply with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
14. Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program and Written Security Program.
15. Wire Transfer Processing
16. Complete the Closed Account Report
17. Work DDA and GL Unposted Reports.
18. Work Chargebacks
19. Send and receive customer bank drafts for collection purposes. Maintain records for these collection items.
20. NSF Processing
21. Dormant Account Reporting
22. Properly handle Death Notifications.
23. Develop, update and publish operating and workflow procedures.
24. Interact with third party vendors involved in these processes.
