Overview:

Responsible for providing outstanding service to Customers and Bank staff by telephone, relating to all aspects of deposit activity, as well as assistance and guidance to the customer, other department staff, or Bank employees regarding policies and procedures.

Your potential work schedule will be as follows:

Monday Through Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Occasional Saturdays

1. Manager: Bank Operations Supervisor


2. Next Level Manager: Bank Operations Manager


3. Senior Manager: Senior Vice President, Retail Banking

Essential Functions:

• Will be cross-trained in all job duties within the Bank Operations department and will fill in when and where needed.


• Fully supports the Ops and Technology Division, Retail Banking, and corporate goals and objectives.


• Must perform all Bank Operations duties in compliance with internal procedures and management direction, and with Local, State and Federal guidelines.


• Will be responsible for the proper and timely completion of duties as indicated in the Bank Operations manual.


• A predetermined number of secondary functions on a daily basis as determined by the Bank Operations Manager.


• Responsible for maintaining high level of job performance to meet and/or exceed the standard for this position in order to ensure achievement of the Department’s goals.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not generally supervise other staff members.

Required Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma.


• Two years of banking experience is preferred and prior bank operations experience is helpful.


• Attendance at special training seminars, classes, or conferences that directly relate to the Primary Bank Operations functions.

Skills Required

• Must have ability to work well with customers and staff, both in person and by telephone.


• Motivational skills a must.


• Must have a strong work ethic with the ability to work varied hours, including extended evening hours and occasional weekend hours.


• The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels within the organization, as well as with outside contacts. Bilingual ability helpful.


• Must have good aptitude for numbers and detail.


• Keyboarding and computer skills are necessary, as well as strong organizational skills.


• Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Outlook.
