Bank Reconciliation Specialist

• Assist in the monthly reconciliation of a high-activity trust account, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct detailed research and resolution of discrepancies between the bank statement and Salesforce.
• Support the cleanup of outstanding checks — resolving them as appropriate.
• Maintain and update a correction log to track discrepancies, document resolutions and ensure all issues are followed through to completion for month-end close.
• Work with cross-functional teams to correct and post batches or entries so that bank deposits and payments align with system entries.
• Partner with the accounting and operations teams to resolve outstanding entries in the bank reconciliation.
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to bring structure and efficiency to the reconciliation process.
• Participate in weekly development calls, providing insight into system issues and contributing to solutions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team.

• 2+ years of experience in bank reconciliation or a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bank reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• $35,000 - $40,000 per year (DOE)
