Description

The Holiday Inn of East Windsor is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Administrator to effectively supervise our banquet department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing large social and corporate functions, as well as catered events, ensuring each event is executed successfully and provides a positive experience for our guests. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor event setup, execution, and breakdown to maintain high standards.

· Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

· Maintain inventory and supplies for the banquet department.

· Effectively lead a team in a positive and professional manner

· Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance

· Ability to effectively direct an event while satisfying the needs of demanding clients

· Ensure that all staff are trained and prepared to deliver exceptional service

· Supervise banquet staff including training, scheduling, and employee issues

Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Proficient in event planning and execution.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
