Banquet and Event Services Manager

Cragun's Resort on beautiful Gull Lake is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Banquet and Event Services Manager! The Banquet and Event Services Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all resort events, including weddings, corporate retreats, banquets, and specials occasions. Your leadership will ensure guests experience seamless service, memorable moments, and exception hospitality from start to finish! 

Scope of Responsibilities

• Responsible for directing and organizing FOH Banquet and Event Service team to execute room set ups, events, banquets, and meetings throughout the resort
• Direct and organize all Dining Room Breakfasts and Lunches, Meeting Room F&B Deliveries and AM Banquets. 
• Training of staff, execution of the event and presentation of the buffets and breaks
• Ensure all meeting spaces and all storage areas are clean and presentable
• Oversee scheduling of direct report and approving timesheets
• Scheduling all front-line staff as directed by you and other leaders
• Schedule to match budget and % of sales to ensure profitability
• Audit and Check all Banquet and Event Orders (BEOs)
• Work closely with Food and Beverage leadership and HR Team to ensure proper staffing levels
• Conduct other managerial admin work as expected: performance reviews, regular meetings, staff disciplinary, etc 

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Banquet or Food and Beverage Experience with preferable addition of responsibilities
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
• A passion for delivering outstanding guests experiences
