Banquet Captain

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service and exude a passion for events


• Ensures complete accuracy of banquet set-up per the BEO including tables, linen, glassware, cutlery, centerpieces, food and bar stations, and miscellaneous décor


• Help set up breaks, buffets, drink stations, etc


• Responsible for helping refresh meeting rooms for next day


• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests


• Assist in breakdown of events including clearing and storing banquet tables, cleaning service stations, bringing used glassware and cutlery to the dishwasher, etc.


• Be able to delegate tasks to make sure set-up, service and tear down is conducted effectively and efficiently


• Assist Manager in running events and managing team

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required


• Previous experience a plus

Shift:

• Must have be available days, nights and weekends
