JOB SUMMARY

As a Banquet Cook, you'll bring your culinary skills to the forefront, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for a variety of events. You’ll work closely with our culinary team to deliver exceptional experiences, ensuring every dish is crafted with precision and care. If you’re passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on our team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to banquet event orders, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation.
• Assist in the creation of menus for special events, tailoring selections to meet guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely preparation and service of meals during events.
• Monitor food stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in training new kitchen staff and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements

• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
