Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Banquet Cook with hotel experience to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains a clean and efficient workstation, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role supports banquet and event operations by preparing high-quality food that meets hotel standards for presentation, taste, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute banquet menus for events, meetings, and special functions
Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety and health regulations
Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for banquet events as needed
Work closely with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service and timely food production
Properly store, label, and rotate food products (FIFO)
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure event timelines are met
Support other kitchen areas when needed
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 2–3 years of banquet or hotel kitchen experience preferred
Strong knowledge of large-scale food preparation and banquet service
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proven ability to work cleanly and efficiently
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
