The Holiday Inn of East Windsor is seeking a passionate people person to join our team as Banquet Manager. The Banquet Manager will effectively and proactively manage the banquet department for large social, corporate functions and catered events with enthusiasm and dedication to ensure a successful and effective event resulting in a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  

· “Wow” guests by anticipating their needs and going the extra mile

· Handle liquor inventory and ordering

· Effectively lead a team in a positive and professional manner

· Superb attention to detail

· Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance

· Ability to effectively direct an event while satisfying the needs of demanding clients

· Supervise banquet staff including recruiting/hiring, training, scheduling, employee issues, and terminations

· Be willing to accept constructive feedback and use it as a tool for growth

· Must be able to work a flexible and variable schedule including nights and weekends
