Job Description - Banquet Manager

The overall responsibility of the Banquet Manager would be performing and working closely with the Event Coordinator in attracting, securing, planning and facilitating events, such as corporate events and social events. The Banquet Manager would also be a responsible for overseeing Banquet events.

  • Effectively partnering with all departments in the planning and execution of events
  • Attending functions to meet hosts and ensure everything is as expected and adjust as needed
  • Maintaining and updating accurate files and billing
  • Budget development and management to increase event sales
  • Assist the client to develop a menu, floorplan, timeline
  • Assist with setting event rooms, breaking down event rooms and ability to be familiar with Audio Visual equipment
  • Oversee all events
  • Having a proficiency in Microsoft office and event software
