Banquet Server

As a Banquet Server, you will be a key part of our events team, responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service to guests at banquets and catered functions. You will ensure efficient and friendly service, adhere to all safety and cleanliness standards, and handle financial transactions. This role requires a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic event environment. 

• Coordinate and serve all food and beverages to banquet guests in a proper, efficient, and friendly manner. 
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event. 
• Follow all alcohol safety standards, including checking identification to ensure minimum drinking age requirements are met. 
• Uphold cleanliness standards for sanitation and shared areas of responsibility. Perform all pre-bussing duties during the dining experience. 
• Perform financial transactions and process guest payments for goods and services delivered. 

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least three (3) years of banquet experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler’s card. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license. 
• Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training. 
• Proven experience in banquet service. 
• Strong customer service skills. 
• Ability to handle financial transactions accurately. 
• Knowledge of alcohol safety standards and responsible service. 
• Commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. 
• Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs. 
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in various settings (climate-controlled office, casino floors with exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise).
