Bar Manager

RockCreek Seafood & Spirits in Kirkland is looking for a motivated and dynamic Bar Manager to join our team. We are seeking an experienced manager who can get the best from their employees through respect, kindness, direct communication, and accountability. Oversight and management of bar and service operations while working cohesively with team members is a priority as is compliance with all applicable sanitation and health procedures and policies. Keeping lines of communication open in a courteous, respectful, professional manner; and clearly communicating ideas and information to staff, customers and management are all required. Our ideal candidate would have experience managing a bar in a high-volume restaurant and have a genuine passion for hospitality.

Wage Range and Benefits

• Hourly Wage is $24/hr, plus tips (based on our tip pooling and tip sharing policy).
• Sick pay is awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. All PSSL is accrued and available for use in accordance with Washington State and local laws.
• PTO is awarded after 3 months, prorated to your start date and renewed in full yearly on January 1st.
• Employee receives 5 designated unpaid days off - Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and the 4th of July (or observed).
• Medical, Dental, and Vision plan election available after 6-month lookback period if eligible based on hours worked (average of 30/week).

• Assist, communicate and delegate chores and direction in a calm, efficient and timely manner.
• Take a section as business demands.
• Demonstrate excellent food safety, sanitation, and organizational skills, while working efficiently.
• Oversee/organize storage and upkeep of product and supplies.
• Communicate through the nightly log of any supplies, staff, guest or service issues.
• Conduct monthly bar meetings .
• Work with others to keep all workstation areas always cleaned and stocked to CircleSpey standards.
• Report all necessary equipment repair, maintenance issues to a direct supervisor or GM.
• Develop, maintain and utilize opening and closing checklists to ensure efficient time management, as necessary and assist and participate inside work and deep clean projects.
• Planning, buying, directing and overseeing all bar operations in an organized, effective, timely manner with self-composure and grace.
• Positive restaurant performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies (creating compelling drinks, costing drinks, inventorying product, etc.).
• Ensure product and service are up to CircleSpey standards.
