Bar Teammate Lead

The Bar Teammate Lead serves as a hands-on leader within a high-energy, counter-service food and beverage outlet. This role helps guide daily service flow, supports guest experience and ensures operational readiness by working alongside the team while providing real-time leadership and support.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example through active participation in order taking, cocktail service, food running, bussing, cleaning and stocking
• Provide real-time direction and support to teammates to ensure smooth service flow
• Monitor counter service operations to maintain speed, accuracy and quality
• Support bar operations including preparing and serving cocktails, beer and wine responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and proper stocking of bar, counter and service areas
• Assist in training new team members and reinforcing service standards
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues when needed
• Communicate effectively with leadership and teammates to anticipate service needs
• Uphold food safety, sanitation and alcohol service regulations at all times
• Maintain professional appearance and service standards throughout each shift

• Previous food and beverage service experience required
• Experience in bar service, counter service or high-volume environments preferred
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide a team while working alongside them
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Working knowledge of POS systems and bar service operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and service standards
• Current New Mexico Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications required
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 30+ pounds
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
