Job Description - Barback

Join the 50/Fifty Food and Beverage Team at Fairmount Park Casino & Racing!

The Role:

As a Beverage Barback, you will be cleaning and stocking public and/or service bars, ensuring bartenders have necessary beverages and bar supplies on hand to service guests.

Stocking beverage outlets with wine, bottled beer and other beverages
Monitoring pump room
Washing glasses, bar, and equipment and polishing bar fixtures
Restocking bar supplies
Cleaning bar area including floors, counters and other surfaces
Removing empty bottles and trash
Assisting with the cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House
Performing all tasks in accordance with established policies and guest service standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must have six months or more related experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk
Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds
Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor

Compensation:

$12.00/hr plus tips
