Position Summary:
GolfSuites Lubbock is seeking a hardworking and dependable part-time Barback to support our bar operations. The Barback plays a key role in ensuring bartenders have the supplies, cleanliness, and support needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This position requires strong attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Stock and restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, ice, and glassware

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas

Assist bartenders with guest service needs

Change kegs and replenish bar inventory as needed

Remove trash and keep bar areas sanitized and guest-ready

Wash and polish glassware

Support opening, closing, and side work duties

Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies

Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and management

Requirements:

1+ years of bartending experience strongly preferred

Must be 21 years of age or older

Complies with state age limit for serving alcohol

Knowledge of mixology for traditional cocktails

Responsible, reliable, and honest team player with interest and ability to learn new things

Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs

Obtain and hold required licenses and certifications as required for your position

Lift items weighing up to 50 lb.

Stoop and bend

Work outside, in varying weather conditions for extended periods

Responsible Vendor Alcohol Training Certificate

Food Handlers permit

Compensation:
$9.00 per hour
