Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
• Manage and restock bar-related supplies and equipment.
• Assist bartenders with service and operational tasks.
• Coordinate with other hotel and restaurant departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications

• Hospitality or hotel experience is not required.
• Previous bartending or bar-related experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
