Barista

Requirements: 

Have a positive and supportive attitude toward the Catholic Church, her teachings, and her work. 

Refrain from public promotion or approval of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the parish, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.

· Exceptional customer service skills; ability to engage customers with joy and hospitality.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a productive and collaborative member of team.

· Mission and service-oriented mindset.

· Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.

· Previous food handling or restaurant experience a plus.

· Previous barista experience a plus.

Essential Duties:

· In addition to preparing and serving beautiful craft coffee drinks, the barista will engage the broader community through customer service, making people feel welcome in conversation and answering questions about the Catholic faith and our work as St. Thomas More Catholic Parish.
